- Sept 2008 - New look for Marquesa's Browser interface
- Mar 2008 - New databases (e.g. New Zealand) added to Direct databases using MqPro
- Sept 2007 - Japan and Singapore direct databases now available
- More on the way too, and class searching now available, with no limit on AU, CH, CZ, FI, FR, HK, PH, SG, SI; EE (Estonia) lets you search up to 10 classes. Others have limitations, see Databases for details.

- April 2007 - Direct databases launched
- This is the start of a major enhancement to the Marquesa service with the addition of twelve (12) additional 'direct' databases. This enables users to search the Marquesa databases (UK, CTM, US Federal, Irish, German, International and Reserved Words at the same time as the various online Patent Office databases. The first 'direct' databases are Australia, Benelux, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Israel, Lithuania, Slovenia, and Switzerland. Many more, including The Philippines and Hong Kong will be available very soon. 'Direct' databases are only available to MqPro users so Browser interface users who wish to access these databases via Marquesa should contact us for advice on upgrading.
- April 2006 - Marquesa US Federal database re-launched
- This database, which is indexed by Marquesa and hosted on our servers, replaces the US Direct database.
- October 2005 - Reserved Words database and other improvements
- The Art6ter, BANs, INNs etc. were removed from the UK database, updated and added to; and a new 21,000 item reserved word (RW) database created. It contains Art6ter, BANs, INNs, European PGIs, PDOs and Reserved Plant names. USBANs and other reserved words will be added.
- In addition the Browser interface has been simplified and both the Browser interface and MqPro have been provided with a simpler database selection method.
- June 2005 - Community Designs
- The Community Designs were launched on Monday June 13th. Marquesa has added Vienna codes and, where Designs contain text, word indexes, so that the Community Designs can be searched as if they were Trade Marks. This addresses the problem posed by the overlap between Designs and Trade Marks. The Designs database will be updated fortnightly.
- April 2005 - US Direct
- US Direct is an experiment to evaluate the possibilities for this kind of data access. Please send your comments to Christopher Durant. MQPRO users should download the latest MQPRO Version 4.3.20, otherwise they will not be able to search by Owner/Agent. If it is not possible to install the new MQPRO promptly then you are advised to use the Browser interface to access the US data.
- Our work on indexing the CTM designs progresses well and a database is running using a Browser interface. Some potential users were shown the system at the recent ITMA conference. The complete system will be ready for release in time for the INTA Conference in San Diego.
- December 2004 - Article 6 ter
- An updated database of Article 6 ter marks (there are now more than 1000) is available and may be searched free of charge in combination with other databases. MQPRO users will have to download the latest version (4.3.16) of mqpro.exe to access the new database. In the meantime they still have access to the out of date version by entering A as a Nice Class.
- August 2004 - Community Designs
- Work begins on indexing the Community Designs with Vienna Codes so that they may be directly compared with Trade Mark devices.
- May 2004 - Word similarity searching now in web browser
- Now on trial in the web system: the same special searching facilities previously only available in MQPRO: word similarity, search sets and goods specification searching.

- Feb 2004 - MQPRO version 4.3.9
- A new version of the Internet Client released. This program, now called MQPRO and replacing the mq2000 Internet Client, has a simplified Word Search interface and now provides for word similarity searching and anagram searching.
- January 2004 - Irish Trade Marks
- Irish Trade Marks now added, they are searchable in the same way as other databases except for Vienna device codes
